According to data released by Chile's construction chamber (CChC), the country’s rebar shipments totaled 49,919 tons in August, falling by 8.9% from a month ago and decreasing by 10% year on year.
In the first eight months of this year, the country’s rebar shipments amounted to 416,672 tons, falling by 2.3% year on year.
Meanwhile, the two major mills to supply domestic rebar market are CAP Acero and Gerdau. |
