| Steel shipments from US rise by 5.4% in July |

According to statistics released by the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), the US Service Center shipped 3.30 million tons of steel products in June, rising by 5.4% year on year.
In the first half of this year, the US Service Center shipped 25.40 million tons of steel products, increasing by 5.8% in comparison of that in the same period of the previous year.
The inventory of steel products in the US Service Center totaled 8.9 million tons at the end of July, up by 6.2% year on year while falling by 1% from a month earlier.
