It is reported that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has set antidumping (AD) investigation on certain carbon steel welded pipes from countries including Taiwan, India, Oman, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
It’s known that those welded pipe imports from India, Oman and UAE have greatly caused damaged against the domestic market.
Meanwhile, CITT has started the Special Import Measures Act for reviewing AD and subsidizing investigations made by the Canada Border Services Agency.
In addition, the Canada Border Services Agency will continue to investigate in welded pipe from seven countries and it will try to announce the result by August 13, 2012. |
