Russia’s TMK pipe deliveries up 16.2% on year in January–June
MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Pipe supplies delivered by Russian pipe maker TMK increased 16.2% on the year to 2.166 million tonnes in January–June, the company said in a statement Tuesday.
Of the total, seamless pipe supplies rose 15.3% on the year to 1.220 million tonnes, while welded pipe supplies rose 17.5% to 946,000 tonnes.
Large diameter pipe supplies were at about 337,000 tonnes, up 33.7% on the year.
In 2011, the company plans to increase its pipe deliveries by 7%–10% on the year from 3.969 million tonnes supplied in 2010.
Founded in 2001, TMK is the largest pipe producer in Russia and one of the three largest in the world.
