According to report of Latin American Steel Association (ALACERO), Latin America’s crude steel output totaled 5.5 million tons in February, rising by 4% year on year.
In February, Brazil was the largest crude steel producer in Latin America with 3 million tons and Mexico was the second largest one with 1.5 million tons.
In the first two months of this year, Latin America’s crude steel production reached 10.30 million tons, falling by 2% year on year.
